Nail reconstruction

Reconstruction is most often performed in people who have had a defect in the nail plate as a result of a mechanical injury. This treatment consists in supplementing the missing part of the nail plate with a prosthetic gel. It can be performed in people struggling with: condition after surgical removal of the nail plate, onycholysis, fragile and brittle nails, subungual hematoma, ingrown nail plate and complications from fungal infections.
